ELPEX rollerskis
The company Elpex was founded 1982 with the name “Swedski” in Sweden. The first Elpex rollerskis – the Wasa – were called “Laser Wasa”. Famous skiers like Gunde Svan and Tomas Wassberg were involved in development of the Elpex rollerskis. The model ”Wasa” became the most sold classical roller ski on the whole market and it still continues being a popular ski today. Of course there have been made improvements over the years but the basic construction stays the same.
Elpex rollerskis have been the leading development in the wheels for classical skiing and they are developing and optimizing new types of wheels. The swedish company is well known for outstanding quality in classical wheels and components such as axels and other spareparts. The reason is that quality will be put before price when Elpex is looking for suppliers for their skis. Many international ski teams use Elpex rollerskis and Elpex is working close with some of the best skiers in the world when it comes to testing and development. Now Elpex is the offical supplyer of the swedish ski team.
