SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA – brake system for skate, classic and cross-rollerskis. Fixing on rollerski and xc-ski boots with SNS, NNN, Prolink and Turnamic system. Incl. kit for classic rollerskis.
The SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA is a revolution in roller-skiing. The fixing of the brake is center balanced and the handling of the rollerskis becomes better because there isn’t so much weight on the back wheel any more like known with standard rollerski brakes.
The SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA is recommended for every binding system like Salomon Nordic System (SNS) or New Nordic Norm (NNN), Prolink and Turnamic. It fits on all rollerskis like standard skate, classic models or cross rollerskis. The new kit allows to change the pad and spacers to use on classic rollerskis as well. The SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA can be adjusted by a quick release-lever.
The SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA is fixed on the heel of the boot by two screws you have to drill into the sole on the side. The other fixation works on the foot instep.
By the weight of 200g the SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA is nearly made for all skier types and made for all boot sizes.
Conclusion: The new SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA is a new step to the professionalization of roller-skiing. We recommend to use on one boot permanent because the plastic of the sole of nordic and rollerski boots is really soft. The mounting of the SKIKE Rollerski Brake WAHIA is very simple - we add a instruction and tools for assambly.
