REX

Rex was founded in 1952 called Redox. The company is from Finland. In the past there was a problem to make skis go gliding downhill and locking for grip uphill. To solve the problem, Aarne Mahnala founded the wax company. Today Rex is famous for their high end waxes. The record on skis was possible with high speed wax from Rex. But the finish company is known for another thing – their light weight performance poles for xc-skiing.

Together with the finish ski company Peltonen, Rex developed very light and stiff poles for nordic-skiing. A lot of world cup athletes trust in the poles from Rex and use them in many races. Especially the Rex wizard is a well known pole for athletes who do races. The Rex wizard is very light and stiff to transfer a lot of power into speed and provide perfect handling. Next to the wizard we offer in our shop the Rex cosmic for races and xc-fans.
